The Water Monkey is a tower in the next Bloons Tower Defense game. It has many different powers over water, and even looks as though it is made of water (it is transparent, with a slight blue tint, and its image ripples occasionally). It costs $5000 and doesn't do anything before being upgraded, but it will be possible to place a tower that would normally have to be placed in water on top of it.

Path 1[]
Squirt Gun[]
- The Water Monkey gets a squirt gun and starts attacking the bloons with it. This does 1 damage per hit. $750
Squirt Machine Gun[]
- The Water Monkey replaces its squirt gun with a "squirt machine gun", which shoots much more quickly and propels water quickly enough to pop 2 layers off bloons. $1500
Ice Would Be Nice![]
- The Water Monkey shoots icicles at the bloons, causing them to take 2 damage and to move backwards for 1.5 seconds (due to the force of the shots). $4000
Weakness to Ice[]
- The Water Monkey's icicles freeze bloons for 3 seconds, causing all attacks to do 1 extra damage during this time. $7500
Path 2[]
Watch Out For That Puddle![]
- The Water Monkey becomes able to create puddles on the track, which cause bloons to slow down when they hit them. The puddles last for 5 seconds, and can be created every 10 seconds. $550
It's Raining, It's Pouring[]
- The Water Monkey summons rain clouds to get its puddles to last longer (12 seconds), but cannot do this as often (only every 24 seconds). $1400
Deep Puddles[]
- The Water Monkey's puddles become deeper, so that lead bloons sink into them and are trapped forever (which counts as destroying them). However, only one bloon can fall in every 2 seconds. $4300
Surf's Up![]
- Surf's Up Ability: The Water Monkey creates a giant wave that sends all of the bloons back to the beginning of the path. This ability can only be used once every 5 rounds. $9000
